Returning Home

I'm home from my travels to Italy and France, and slowly settling back into the rhythms of everyday life and making time to remember and reflect on my experiences. I plan to share more as the insights reveal themselves to me.

Slow Photography: Seeing with Your Senses and Your Soul

I'm busy packing for Italy where I will be teaching "Slow Photography: Seeing with Your Senses and Your Soul" in Orvieto with workshop hosts Bill and Kristi Steiner of Adventures in Italy. It really is a week of slowing down and opening our senses to a different way of life, and I always come home refreshed and inspired with new ideas. I'm looking forward to the "trip taking me."!

Road to Heavens Above

I just returned from a week at Penland School of Crafts in the North Carolina Mountains near Spruce Pine. On the campus is this road sign "Road to Heavens Above". Decided it needed to become a page in my journal.
